Sovfracht has completed the delivery of containers laden with peat from Kaliningrad, Russia, to Qingdao, China, the company said in a statement.
Several variants of transportation including different vessel types, packaging and routes was considered before making the final decision.
Shipping by sea was an optimal variant that allowed of reducing both the transit time and the logistic costs.
