5.54 mn tons was shipped during 2023 by the North-South International Transport Corridor by sea, according to the International transport corridors directorate. This figure is 55% or 3.57 mn tons above the result achieved in 2022.
Rail transportation volume by the North-South International Transport Corridor amounted to 11.69 mn tons in 2023, up 14% compared to 10.21 mn tons in 2022.
The figures were made public during a meeting of the Transport and logistics corridors headquarters held by RF First Vice Premier Andrey Belousov, RF Government press office has reported.
The meeting participants discussed the current situation and the international transport corridors road map progress.
