A delegation of Arkhangelsk Oblast has returned from China where it took part in the Made in Russia festival o Russian goods, the regional government press office has reported.
In China’s Liaoning Province, the delegates visited two megapolises, Shenyang and Dalian and discussed cooperation prospects with the municipal authorities.
The parties discussed possibilities to ship sawn goods and paper and pulp products from Arkhangelsk region to China via Dalian.
Last year, the government of Arkhangelsk reminds, a shipment was made from Arkhangelsk to Shanghai via the Northern Sea Route, and Dalian is located closer than Shanghai.
A delegation from China is expected to visit Arkhangelsk to discuss the options for cooperation in various spheres.
