Russian Railways have reported launching a new regular railway route from Cheboksary in Central Russia to Khabarovsk in the Russian Far East.
Two block trains carrying modules for building solar power stations have already travelled by the route. The transit time is 11 days.
By the end of August 2026 twenty block trains are to run the new route delivering solar power production equipment with a total capacity exceeding 500 MWt.
