The Government of the Russian Federation extended the ban on rice and rice cereals export by order No2377 signed by RF Premier Mikhail Mishustin on December 29, 2023.
The ban will be in force till June 30, 2023. The decision is aimed at maintaining the stability in the home market.
The ban does not apply to rice and rice cereals export to the Eurasian Economic Union members, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Humanitarian aids and international transit are also exempt from the embargo.
