Arkas Line возобновляет сезонный рефсервис

Arkas Line Resumes Seasonal Reefer Service Solo

  • Arkas Line is resuming its seasonal reefer service branded Russian Express Service (REX) between Mersin and Novorossiysk. The weekly service offers a transit time of 4 days.

This year, Arkas will operate the service solo, without Sealand Europe & Med-A Maersk Company and COSCO Shipping, which were its partners previously.

‘Taking into account that both the companies have stopped their activities in Russia, they most likely won’t participate,’ a spokesperson for Arkas told SeaNews.

The service will be operated by three container vessels. The first voyage will start on week 44 with the MV “Dionysis A” (250 reefer plugs) leaving Mersin.

The other two vessels deployed are the 1,201 TEU “Mehmet Kahveci A” (289 reefer plugs) and the 1,157 TEU “Kaptan Aytac A” (250 reefer plugs).
