FESCO и «АВТОВАЗ» договорились о развитии интермодальных перевозок из стран АТР

FESCO and AVTOVAZ to Develop Intermodal Routes from APR

  • FESCO Transport Group and AVTOVAZ’ Russia’s major automotive manufacturer, have concluded an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of intermodal transportation from APR countries via Vladivostok to Togliatti, where AVTOVAZ has a car making factory.

    The document was signed by FESCO Chairman Andrey Severilov and AVOTOVAZ Chairman Maxim Sokolov at the Eastern Economic Forum recently held in Vladivostok.

    Under the agreement, the parties intend to use FESCO’s logistics expertise and services including the Group’s rail and sea shipping service networks, containership fleet and port and terminal infrastructure.

    The companies also agreed to develop overland shipments of import cargo from China to Togliatti using FESCO-operated regular railway services.

    FESCO and AVOVAZ also plan to study possibilities for launching intermodal logistics solutions for shipments from India and Turkey and cooperate shipping cargo by rail from Europe.
