Togliattiazot (TOAZ) has voiced an intention to build a terminal in Taman by 2025. The estimated project cost is 40 bn rubles ($664 mn).
The new facility is to be put into operation successively in three stages, Phase 1 is to become operable as early as in December 2023. The full capacity is to be reached within two or three years.
The new terminal is expected to give jobs to some 500 locals. The project envisages only terminal activities, with no production facilities, so, according to TOAZ it will have a zero environmental impact.
