New Block Train from Irkutsk to Vladivostok

  • FESCO Transportation Group has announced launching a regular train service branded FESCO Angara Shuttle eastbound from Irkutsk in Siberia to Vladivostok in the Russian Far East.

    The block train will depart the station of Batareinaya to Commercial Port of Vladivostok, part of FESCO Group, three taimes a month.

    The transit time is 7 days. Most of the cargo transported will be construction materials, timber goods and other commodities. The planned monthly traffic is expected to make some 600 TEU.

    The first train laden with 113 containers left for Vladivostok on February 4.

    The new service is aimed for both export designated goods and domestic freight.
