According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, Russia’s car import in January-November 2021 was up 47% year-on-year to 314.5 thousand units. Truck import during the 11 months of the year grew by 46.1% year-on-year up to 30.1 thousand units.
In terms of value, car import during January-November increased by 55% year-on-year up to $7.4 bn. Truck import surged 99.9% up to $2.1 bn.
According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in November 2021 car import was down 9% year-on-year and down 1.5% month-on-month to make 26.2 thousand units. Truck import made 2.8 thousand units, down 3.4% year-on-year and down 9.7% month-on-month.
In terms of value, car import decreased by 2.1% year-on-year and grew by 6.7% month-on-month to make $669.5 mn in November. Truck import was worth $191.8 mn, up 55.2% year-on-year and down 5.7% month-on-month.
Russia’s car export in January-November 2021 was up 39.1% year-on-year to 80.8 thousand units. Truck export grew by 11.3% making 11.8 thousand units.
In terms of value, car export was up 45.6% year-on-year amounting to $1.3 bn. Truck export increased by 10.9% to make $310 mn.
In November, car export grew by 13.4% year-on-year and by 11.8% month-on-month to 7.6 thousand units. Truck export made 1.3 thousand units, up 8.3% year-on-year and level with October 2021.
In terms of value, car export in November increased by 9.6% year-on-year and by 11.5% month-on-month to make $108.6 mn. Truck export was worth $37.5 mn, up 15% year-on-year and up 14.3% month-on-month.
