A decision has been taken to move the date of this year’s TMS Awards to Monday November 23rd. The one day TMS Tanker Shipping conference will take place the following day on Tuesday 24th.
Managing Director Trevor Pereira says, “Pushing back these events by a month will hopefully ensure that the Awards and Tanker Conference are taking place in a safe and secure environment in which guests feel comfortable. We will of course include all necessary protocols and restrictions set by the government to ensure the safety of all attendees.”
The Maritime Standard Awards are widely regarded as the most prestigious event of their kind in the region and have achieved royal patronage since their inception. There will be around 30 awards presented on the night across a wide of categories. The Tanker Shipping conference has gained in popularity since its inception four years ago and now attracts all the leading tankers owners and operators from across the Middle East and further afield.
