Russia – EU Trade Down 52% YoY in January 2024

  • During January 2024, the trade turnover between Russia and the countries of the European Union dropped 51.6% year-on-year down to 6 bn euro.

    According to Eurostat, exports from EU countries to Russia were down 27.2% during the period under report to 2.59 bn euro, imports from Russia to the European Union declined by 61.3% down to 3.45 bn euro.

    In January 2024, Russia dropped from both Top 10 exporters to the EU and the Top 10 importers from the EU.
