Three New RTGs for VSC

  • Global Ports, part of Delo Group, has acquired three new RTG cranes for its Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company terminal in the Russian Far East, the Group said in a statement.

The 40-ton capacity AGVs made by ZPMC will be used for intra-terminal movement and stacking of containers. With the new units, VSC will now operate 27 AGVs.

In the near future, the terminal will take delivery of eight terminal trucks with trailers and two terminal loaders with a capacity of 16 and 32 tons.

Earlier, in 2023, VSC put into operation two high-capacity Liebherr LHM 550 cranes, six RMGs, three RTGs, and four reach stackers.

Besides, during 2022-2023 more than 25 units of port equipment was relocated to VSC from Global Ports’ Northwest terminals.
