TransContainer Acquires Fitting Platforms

  • TransContainer, part of Delo Group, is to acquire 1,230 new 80’ fitting platforms, the company said in a statement. The equipment is ordered from Russian manufacturers and is to be delivered in several trenches during 2024.

    “The growth in container traffic that continued in 2023 creates prerequisites for expanding fitting platform fleet to respond to the customers’ demand. In 2024, TransContainer intends to pay special attention to this segment of investment. Depending on the prices in the rolling stock market, the company will continue the acquisition of platforms,” Mikhail Kontserev, President of TransContainer, said.

    As of the start of 2024, TransContainer operated 40,800 fitting platforms with a total capacity exceeding 130,100 TEU, including 35,500 0wn platforms.
