Ruscon, a multimodal operator and part of Delo Group, has put into operation a new warehouse to handle and store LCL cargo delivered to Moscow by rail and road.
The new facility was built on the territory of Ruscon’s MANP container and logistics terminal in the framework of the terminal reconstruction programme, Delo said in a statement.
The heated roofed warehouse covers 1,440 sqm and has a capacity to store 396 pallets at a time. It is equipped with a roofed ramp for accepting and offloading cargo. Next to the warehouse, there is a railway front to handled cargo delivered by rail to the Kresty station.
The LCL segment is developing fast, especially due to the growing e-commerce cargo inflow from China, and the new warehouse is expected to meet the market demand, Ruscon MD commented.
