RZD Logistics in cooperation with RBS Logistics have launched a new regular container train service from South China to Russia, RZD Logistics said in a statement.
The first block train carrying 55 40’ units laden with household appliances, clothes, footwear and consumer goods left Guangzhou international dry port on September 20.
The train routed via the Zabaikalsk border crossing point is scheduled to arrive at the Bely Rast station in Moscow region on October 5. The estimated transit time is 15 days.
At the initial stage of the project, the service frequency will be monthly, in future it is expected to be increased.
