FESCO Increases Russia – India Service Capacity

  • FESCO Transport Group has deployed an own container vessel in its FESCO India Line (FIL) service increasing the loadable capacity up to 1,100 TEU, the group said in a statement.

    FESCO also cut the transit time from India to Russia down to 18 days. The service now operates in the following rotation: Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Novorossiysk and back.

    At the initial stage, the service frequency is monthly. In future the Group intends to deploy a second ship increasing the service frequency to twice a month.

    The service provides for export and import of food products, wood pulp, polymer materials, high and heavy and hazmat as well as other commodities.

    Apart from FIL from Novorossiysk, FESCO also offers shipping to Indian ports from Commercial Port of Vladivostok in the Russian Far East.
