Earlier this week, the cruise liner “Mustai Karim” with 250 tourists on board called at the port of Vyborg. It was the first time a passenger ship has called at the port since the start of the pandemic. Before that, the Finnish cruise liner “Karelia” visited Vyborg in autumn of 2019.
The “Mustai Karim” is the first river-sea-going passenger liner built in Russia during the past 60 years. The vessel is built to PV300 Design.
According to Port Logistic, the port operator at Vyborg, previously it was considered impossible for vessels longer than 135 meters to berth at the port.
