The management of Kaliningrad Commercial Sea Port plans to launch a project to develop a multimodal terminal for general and social cargo delivered to the region in the near future.
Last year, more than 30 mn rubles ($390 thousand) was invested into the port infrastructure, this year CAPEX is to increase significantly, the port said in a statement.
At present, the port is repairing and modernizing its railway facilities and crane rails. A new portal crane is to arrive soon.
