FESCO Adds Port of Call on Turkish Service

  • FESCO Group has increased the capacity on its FESCO Turkey Black Sea Service (FTBS) service between Russia and Turkey deploying a 712 TEU vessel, the Group said in a statement.

    The operator also expanded the port rotation adding a call at Gebze, Turkey. The new rotation is: Novorossiysk – Istanbul – Gebze – Novorossiysk.

    The service frequency is weekly, the transit time from Novorossiysk to Istanbul is a day a two, plus a day more to Gebze.

    FESCO launched FTBS at the end of April to cater for delivery of consumer goods, household appliances and electronic devices from Turkey to Russia and that of consumer goods from Russia to Turkey.

    Since the launch of the service, the company carried more than 2,500 TEU.
