A new logistics center is planned to be built on the territory adjacent to the railway bridge over the Amur River between Nizhneleninskoe in Russia and Tunjian in China. According to Yury Trutnev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, the logistics center will be part of the Industrialny park project.
The cross-border Nizhneleninskoe – Tunjian railway bridge was put into operation in April 2022. The current capacity of the bridge is 5 mn tons of cargo per annum, by 2030 freight traffic is expected to reach 20 mn tons. This calls for developing the adjacent territory and creating new logistics facilities, Trutnev said.
The territory near the bridge covers some 2,000 hectares, 810 hectares has already been rented by investors.
