  • Oboronlogistics said it is going to launch a regular ferry service between Yeisk and Mariupol deploying its own ferry fleet.

Initially, the 2010-built ro-pax ferry “Lavrentiy” that previously served the Kerch ferry crossing will be deployed on the new route. The vessel has a capacity of up to 700 tons of cargo including 20 trucks and 136 passengers.

The transit time between the two ports will make 4 hours with the ferry operating at a speed of up to 12 knots. Initially, the service frequency will be one round trip a day.
