RZD Logistics and UTLC have cooperated to launch a new reefer block train to carry agri products from China to Russia via the territory of Kazakhstan.
The train carrying 50 autonomous reefer units left the town of Zibo in Shandong Province in China on March 26 and is routed via the border crossing of Dostyk in Kazakhstan to the station of Selyatino in Moscow region. The transit time is expected to make 18 days.
It is the first RZD Logistics-operated block train for agri products from China to via Kazakhstan. The train carries frozen sea food, vegetables, fruit, and other products.
