Unionway Ltd., a new resident of Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone, intends to build a new container terminal at the rail station of Svisloch. The facility is aimed for transferring containers from the 1520 mm gauge onto the 1435 mm gauge and vice versa.
The terminal will also load containers onto trucks and store them in roofed warehouses and in an open-air yard as well as handle bulk cargo and store high and heavy cargo.
The construction of the first phase of the terminal is scheduled to start this year with putting into operation planned for 2025. The value of the investment will exceed $23 mn. The new terminal will give jobs to 70 people.
