Russian Railways and FESCO Transportation Group have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing railway container transportation and increasing the speed of block trains by using innovative rolling stock.
The parties intend to take part together in projects aimed at developing and manufacturing railcar bogies and 40’ and 80’ fitting platforms.
They also plan to develop technology solutions to optimize block train schedules and digital solutions to improve container transportation efficiency and speed.
