The Government of the Russian Federation has defined the list of goods and equipment earlier imported into Russia that are temporarily forbidden to export. The decision is documented in Order No 311, 312 and 313 of March 9, 2022, and is valid till the end of 2022.
The list includes technology, telecom, and medical equipment, vehicles, agricultural machines, electric equipment, all in all more than 200 positions including locomotives and railcars, containers, turbines, stone and metal processing machines, monitors, beamers, remote controllers, and consoles.
As the Ministry of Transport explained, containers that were declared as means of transport when entering the territory of the Russian Federation are not subject to the restriction and can be carried from Russia as usual.
The Government also restricted export of a number of timber.
