  • The universal nuclear-powered Design 22220 icebreaker “Arktika” has set sail for trials after it has been repaired in St. Petersburg, Baltic Shipyard reports.

One of the vessel’s three propulsion motors had to be replaced after it broke down in February this year.

After the icebreaker completes the trials and is commissioned, it will be deployed assisting commercial shipping on the Northern Sea Route.
