В России запустят беспилотные транспортные коридоры

Unmanned Logistics Transport Corridors Project in Russia

  • Unmanned technologies were defined as priority for the freight industry sector for the coming years at the recent meeting of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects held by RF President Vladimir Putin via videoconference.

    According to RF First Vice Premier Andrey Belousov, the first unmanned road freight corridor is to be developed along the M11 highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg by 2024.

    An unmanned shipping route is to be developed between Ust-Luga and Kaliningrad.

    One more freight transportation project involving unmanned technology discussed during the meeting was drone cargo delivery to remote regions in the Arctic and the Russian Far East.
