Pesticides and agri chemicals import into Russia will be allowed via 14 border crossing checkpoints only w.e.f. June 29, 2021. The RF Government defined the list of such border crossing checkpoints for pesticides and agri chemicals import by Decree No1667-r of June 19. The list includes 4 road, 3 rail ones, 3 airport and 4 sea port checkpoints.
- Road checkpoints: Burachki, Zabaikalsk, Ubylinka, Shumilkino,
- Rail checkpoints: Valuiki, Zabaikalsk, Posin,
- Airport checkpoints: Vladivostok (Knevichi), Moscow (Domodedovo), Moscow (Sheremetyevo),
- Sea port checkpoints: Big port of St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Vostochny, Novorossiysk.
The measure is expected to help optimize control over the quality and amount of pesticides and agri chemicals imported and prevent import of dangerous falsified products.
