Russia – EU Trade in January-March 2021

  • During January-March 2021, the trade turnover between Russia and the countries of the European Union decreased by 2.1% year-on-year down to 51.3 bn euro.

    According to Eurostat, import from the EU countries into Russia was down 1.5% during the 3 months 2021 making 20.3 bn euro. Export from Russia to the European Union declined by 2.5% down to 31 bn euro.

    Russia rates the fifth among the largest importers from the EU after the USA, the United Kingdom, China and Switzerland.

    Among the largest exporters to the EU countries, Russia ranks the third after China and the USA.
