August 30 the first block train left the Chernikovka station in Ufa (Bashkiria, Russia) for Chengdu in China. It carries fifty 40’ units laden with sawn goods manufactured by Kronospan in Bashkiria.
The train is routed via Zabaikalsk, it is expected to cover the distance of over 5,000 km from Chernikovka to the border crossing in 6 days.
