According to the RF Federal Customs Service’ statistics, during the first month of 2019 Russia exported 20.8 mn tons of crude oil, down 9.5% year-on-year and 11.3% month-on-month.
In terms of value, crude oil export declined 17.6% both year-on-year and month-on-month down to $8.7 bn.
Oil products export decreased by 12.7% year-on-year, but grew 10.5% month-on-month amounting to 12.8 mn tons. In terms of value it was down both year-on-year (-15.2%) and month-on-month (-3.4%) to $5.8 bn.
Diesel fuel export made 54.8 mn tons in terms of tonnage (-3.3% year-on-year and +7.8% month-on-month) and $2.2 bn in terms of value (-5.1% year-on-year and -4.7% month-on-month).
Petrol export was down 6.8% year-on-year and 5.8% month-on-month to 338.3 thousand tons in terms of tonnage. In terms of value it also declined, by 16.6% year-on-year and by 2.3% month-on-month making $171.8 mn.
Natural gas export amounted to 18.3 cbm, up 3.4% year-on-year and down 0.5% month-on-month. In terms of value, it mgrew 26.7% year-on-year up to $4.5 bn.
Liquefied natural gas export surged 2.1-fold year-on-year and 3.4-fold month-on-month up to 5.4 mn tons, its value 2.3-fold year-on-year and 2.4-fold month-on-month up to $750.8 mn.
