According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-March 2021 Russia’s export of vodka declined both in physical terms and value-wise.
It made 319.8 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 16.2% year-on-year, physically, and $22.1 mn, down 21.6%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-March grew by 12.1% year-on-year to $655.1 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-March increased by 11% up to $17.2 mn.
In March, Russia exported 141.9 thousand decalitres of vodka, down 14% year-on-year and up 24% month-on-month, worth $9.6 mn, down 23.8% year-on-year and up 14.3% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in March was up 22.4% year-on-year and up 20.5% month-on-month to $267.9 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in March was level with March last year, but down 15.9% month-on-month to $5.8 mn.
