According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-October 2020 Russia exported 2.1 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, down 14.3% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export declined by 19.2% year-on-year down to $3.3 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export decreased by 4.9% year-on-year making 545 thousand tons worth $3.1 bn, down 9.6% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-October 2020 declined by 19.4% year-on-year amounting to 94.7 thousand tons worth $1.2 bn, down 24.1% year-on-year.
In October, unwrought aluminum export made 201.3 thousand tons, up 24.3% year-on-year and down 35.7% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export grew by 14.3% year-on-year and declined by 33.4% month-on-month to make $312.3 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was down 46.6% year-on-year and down 46.1% month-on-month to 34.8 thousand tons worth $214.7 mn, down 41.3% year-on-year and down 47.1% month-on-month.
Unwrought nickel export in October was down 41.9% year-on-year and down 20.4% month-on-month to 9 thousand tons. In terms of value, it declined by 50.2% year-on-year and by 18.9% month-on-month to make $131.3 mn.
