Foreign trade turnover via the Novorossiysk Customs in H1 2018 made $5.83 mn, up 6% year-on-year.
In terms of tonnage, foreign trade grew 26.4% up to 12.64 mn tons.
Payments to the federal budget for the period amounted to 36.74 mn rubles, up 22.5% year-on-year.
In the Novorossiysk Customs region, over 3.2 thousand vessels, over 9.56 thousand railcars, 2.1 thousand cars and trucks, and some 200 thousand containers crossed the RF border.
The largest share in export is grains. Other commodities constituting the export top 5 are ferrous metals, vegetable oils and animal fats, fertilizers and vehicles.
The top 5 import commodities are fruit (citrus fruit, nuts, bananas), vegetables (including potatoes, carrots, radishes), equipment, electric machinery and footwear.
