FESCO has launched a new railway container service from Omsk to Vladivostok, the Group said in a statement. Block train run from the station of Kombinatskaya to Commercial Port of Vladivostok with an average transit time of 10 days.
Most of the cargo is agricultural and chemical products. The planned monthly traffic is about 600 TEU. The Group also offers door delivery and freight forwarding services.
The first block train from Omsk to Vladivostok carrying 140 TEU with consumer goods and agricultural products departed on November, the expected date of arrival is November 15.
The service is designed for Omsk region manufacturers and freight forwarders interested in shipping their goods both to East and Southeast Asia and to the Russian Far East and Arctic regions like Sakhalin, Kamchatka, Magadan and Chukotka.
