Yevgeny Leonov has been appointed Deputy Executive Director, Director of the logistics center at KAMAZ, the company said in a statement. Prior to this, he was director of the quality department of KAMAZ, Russia’s major truck manufacturer.
Leonov started with KAMAZ in 1999 as an engineering technologist of the department responsible for manufacturing efficiency analysis, after graduating from the Kama Machine Building Technical College.
While working, he obtained a degree in automotive engineering from Kama State Polytechnic Institute. In 2006, Leonov was appointed director of the manufacturing and dispatch department with KAMAZ-Diesel.
In 2010, he became director of the manufacturing and dispatch department at the KAMAZ logistics center, and in 2015 was appointed director of the auto parts manufacturing logistics department.
During 2018-2020 he was Deputy Chief Technologist responsible for manufacturing planning and preparation in the technology center.
During the past three years, Leonov occupied the position of Director, Quality, director of the quality department.
