Nuclear-Powered Containership “Sevmorput” Embarks on Third Subsidized Voyage

  • October 13 the nuclear-powered container ship “Sevmorput” set sail for her third subsidized coastal voyage from St. Petersburg to the port of Vostochny, Rosatomolot, the vessel operator, said in a statement.

    The route starting in St. Petersburg goes via the Northern Sea Route to the ports of Vostochny and Peropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and back to St. Petersburg. The transit time to Vostochny is expected to make 22 days.

    The voyage is organized in the framework of the Northern Sea Route infrastructure development federal project.
