Russia’s Promsvyazbank will provide 6 mn rubles ($65.95 mn) to Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex in the Russian Far East, the bank said in a statement.
The money will be used to modernize the yard’s shipbuilding and shiprepair facilities and help build sea-going vessels and develop state of the art equipment.
The project is implemented by an investment consortium as part of the federal programme for developing the shipbuilding industry supported by the RF President and Government.
