The Main Department of State Expertise has studied the project documentation and engineering survey results for the 16th phase of building the dry dock and dockyard workshops of Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex and granted its approval.
Phase 16 of the project provides for building cargo embankment No. 2, installing three video surveillance and lighting masts, developing a storage area for support bases and unitized cargo No. 1, an area for temporary placement of units and reserve areas.
The project also envisages developing an automated system of dispatching and control of engineering systems of the to provide centralization and automation of the process of collecting operational and statistical information on the operation of technological equipment of engineering systems, continuous monitoring and recording of the main parameters of engineering systems equipment operation, displaying information on emergency and alarm events, providing control from a single dispatch center.
Cargo embankment No. 2, which is the key object of Phase 16, is designed for receiving and unloading waterborne hull blocks and mega-blocks of up to 3,500 tons and unit loads of up to 100-500 tons
In addition, the embankment will have an auxiliary function, it will be used to complete the construction of ice-strengthened multifunctional supply vessels.
