FESCO Reveals Plans for India – Novorossiysk Deep Sea Service

  • FESCO Transport Group intends to launch a new direct deep sea service to link Novorossiysk in the Black Sea with India’s Nhava Sheva, German Maslov, FESCO VP, Logistics Liner and Division, said speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the group said in a statement.

    Earlier, FESCO launched a regular service between St. Petersburg and Mundra in India. The new service to be branded FESCO Indian Line is to start operating in a month’s time.

    FESCO estimates the market to make up to 89,000 TEU in 2023 compared to 76,000 TEU in 2022. Russia imports from India mainly ceramics and cereals and exports to India construction materials, inorganic chemicals and paper, Maslov noted.
