Fish Shuttle for Russian Exporters

  • FESCO Transport Group and Russian Export Center are to launch the “Fish Shuttle” service to transport fish and seafood in reefer containers from the Russian Far East ports to China and from Murmansk and St. Petersburg to APR countries.

Dalrefrtrans, part of FESCO Group, which will act as the service operator, and Russian Export Center presented the new service at the TransRussia 2023 international exhibition in Moscow last week.

The route from the Russian Far East to China and APR will allow of exporting fish products directly from warehouses without transshipment via marine terminals in the port of Vladivostok thus reducing the transit time and keeping the products fresh.

The route from St. Petersburg and Murmansk is aimed to help exporters from Northwest and Central Russia to reach the East and Southeast Asian markets.

The Fish Express is designed as a single window logistics solution based on the regular services operated by FESCO, Andrey Grechin, MD of Dalreftrans, explained.

The service is aimed to help Russian fish exporters to replace the western logistics providers that left the Russia market, Alexey Solodov, VP pf Russian Export Center, added.
