TransContainer and Lesofond have assigned an agreement to jointly develop multimodal services from China via Russian Far East ports using the parties’ assets.
The document was signed by TransContainer VP, Commerce, Alexander Podylov and Lesofond MD Vladimir Malusha during TransRussia 2023 international transport and logistics exhibition in Moscow.
The agreement envisages developing new routes for export, import and domestic freight transportation including organizing regular block trains from Russian to China.
TransContainer has been cooperating with Lesofond since 2012, the core sphere of mutual efforts being shipping export designated sawn goods and delivery of imported consumer goods.
