Modul is launching a new regular deep sea service branded MAREX (Modul America Russia Express) linking Russia and Latin America via St. Petersburg.
The first voyage starts from Sea Fishing Port Terminal in St. Petersburg on February 18 as a 30,000+ tons capacity vessel will set off for Paranagua (TCP) and Santos Ecoporto) in Brazil with containers laden with Russian fertilizers, construction materials and confectionary.
The transit time will make 25 days. On the return voyage, the vessel will take on board food products including coffee, cocoa beans, nuts and meat products.
At the initial stage of the project, one vessel equipped with reefer plugs to carry temperature sensitive cargo will be deployed.
In the framework of the new MAREX service, Modul also provides freight forwarding and customs clearance services, same as with its MIREX service between St. Petersburg and India launched in summer of 2022.
