В Приморском крае построят зерновой порт

Grain Port to Be Built in Primorsky Kray

  • A new port to handle grains, oil seeds and other bulk commodities and a soybean procession factory are to be built by 2025 in the Shkotovo District of Primorsky Kray, the regional government has announced.

    The project investor is LegendAgro Logistika. The port capacity will make up to a million tons per annum, while the plant will be capable of processing up to 240 thousand tons of soybeans to make up to 220 thousand tons of products, mainly to be exported.

    The project is estimated to cost 6 bn rubles ($$100 mn).

    This year, LegendAgro Logistika established a logistics company to offer transportation and terminal handling services for grains and oilseeds, which operates 300 grain carrying trailers, 100 railcars and two vessel loading machines, with a total annual carrying capacity of up to 380 thousand tons.
