APMT and Delo Close Global Ports Deal

  • On September 13, 2022, Delo Group completed the acquisition of a 30.75% stake in Global Ports Investments Plc from APM Terminals, the terminal business of A.P. Moller – Maersk, after fulfilling all necessary conditions, including obtaining approvals from the Russian Federation authorities. As a result, Delo’s shareholding in Global Ports increased to 61.50%.

Delo and AMPT closed the transaction on arm’s length terms, which include the possibility for APMT to return to a joint business with Delo in the future, Delo said in a statement.

On the same date, Soren Jakobsen, Mogens Petersen and Kristian Bai Hollund resigned from the Global Ports Board, the company said.

Vladimir Bychkov was elected new Chairman of the Board.
