Rosmorport has deployed an unmanned watercraft to convey sounding operations for the new cruise and ferry terminal to be built in the sea port of Kaliningrad.
The Apache-3 unmanned hydrographic electric watercraft equipped with a single-beam echo sounder was used to carry out bottom topography survey.
The watercraft is a trimaran for fully automatic hydrographic survey in open and enclosed water bodies and in coastal sea areas at a depth ranging from 0.3 to 205 meters, with a wind force up to 9 mps and waves up to 1 meter high.
The unmanned watercraft is equipped with two engines powered by a battery and can be operated in a fully automatic mode or in a manual mode by remote control.
