Первый контейнерный поезд из Китая через Камышовую

First Block Train from China to Russia via Kamyshovaya

  • TransContainer, part of Delo Group, has launched the first ever block train from China to Russia routed via the rail station of Kamyshovaya in Primorsky Kray in Far East Russia. Previously, only transit freight was transported via this station.

The first train consisting of 51 containers left Kamyshoaya on July 7 and is to arrive at the destination in Vorotynsk in Kaluga region in 12 days. Additionally, transit from Hunchun in China and via the border crossing point took just a day, TransContainer said.

The service is designed for shipping product manufactured in North China, which are consolidated in Hunchun to be sent to Russia on a weekly basis.

Diversifying routes and adding one more border crossing point to carry imports help provide efficient logistic solutions in the current conditions when the rail infrastructure in the Far East is under pressure, according to TransContainer.

The company also carries containers from North China via the border crossings of Manchuli/Zabaikalsk and Suifenhe/Grodekovo and operates multimodal services from the ports of Dalian, Tianjin and Qingdao via the VSC terminal in the port of Vostochny.
