TransContainer has launched a new multimodal container service for consumer goods import from China to Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Kray via Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company in the port of Vostochny in the Russian Far East.
TransContainer offers its containers and organizes ocean shipping as well as rail transportation and trucking in Russia, while VSC provides terminal handling and document flow support in the port of VOstochny.
Cargo will be delivered to consumers in Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Kray in South Russia from TransContainer-operated terminal at the railway station of Rostov-Tovarny.
The first train is scheduled to run from the station of Nakhodka-Vostochnaya to Rostov-Tovarny in June, in future two to four monthly train runs are planned.
The transit time from the ports of Taicang, Ningbo and Dalian will make 4 days plus 12 days by rail.
