Direct Train Service from Chengdu to Moscow Region

  • On May 29, 2022, Ruscon, a multimodal logistics operator, part of the Delo Group, organized the first dispatch of a block train as part of a new regular container service between China and Russia. The train from Chengdu in China to Kresty in Moscow Region is routed via the Zabaykalsk/Manchuria land border crossing.

    The consignment of fifth 40’ units is scheduled to arrive at the destination at Ruscons MANP terminal at the end of June.

    The service frequency will be twice a month. In future, depending on the demand trains are expected to run weekly.

    Andrey Chernyshev, Senior Vice President of Ruscon, commented: “The new route expands opportunities for our customers to send direct import cargo from Sichuan – industrially developed Chinese province to the Moscow region”.
